Description

Side-to-side bounds covering maximum lateral distance. Develops the power needed for cutting, defending, and lateral acceleration in sport.

Coaching Cues

  • Push off outside leg explosively. Drive arms across body. Land softly on opposite leg. Absorb through hip and knee. Pause briefly to control, then bound back. Keep chest up throughout.

Contraindications

Avoid with ankle or knee instability. Build single-leg strength first.
