Description

Lateral step-up onto box followed by shuffle to the other side. Develops lateral power and the ability to transition between movements.

Coaching Cues

  • Stand beside low box. Step up laterally, driving off outside leg. Shuffle across box. Step down opposite side. Immediately return. Stay low and athletic throughout.

Contraindications

Use low box (6-12 inches). Good for lateral conditioning.
