Coaching Cues

  • Face stairs on one foot. Hop up one stair at a time. Drive knee of free leg. Use arms for momentum. Stay on ball of foot. Maintain balance throughout. Walk down to recover.

Contraindications

Requires excellent single-leg strength and stability. Start with one stair at a time.
