Description

Plyometric push-up with a clap at the top. Requires greater explosiveness and faster hand repositioning than standard plyo push-ups.

Coaching Cues

  • Explode up with maximum force. Clap hands quickly at peak. Return hands to shoulder width. Land with soft elbows. Absorb through chest and shoulders. Maintain body alignment throughout.

Contraindications

High wrist impact. Requires excellent plyo push-up proficiency.
