Description

Hands start elevated on plates or low boxes, drop to floor, catch and explode back up. Upper body equivalent of depth jumps for reactive pressing power.

Coaching Cues

  • Start with hands on elevated surfaces. Drop hands to floor between. Catch with soft elbows. Immediately explode back up to elevated surfaces. Minimize time on floor. Keep core engaged throughout.

Contraindications

Very demanding on wrists and shoulders. Requires excellent pressing strength.
